Subject: How to enhance the energy in your personal space?

I have come across books on FS and Ba Zi that tends to give contradictory advise to the above question. For
instance, if your Life Gua is 3 (based on Ba Zhai), you belonged to Wood element and you should use more wood
element in your personal space such as plants, green color decor, oblong shaped furnishing etc. Some books say
to follow your self element based on Ba Zi. For instance, if your DM is Metal irrespective of whether it is strong or
weak, you should surround yourself with metallic trinkets, round shaped carpets/furnishings i.e. anything of grey
color or round shape. Others say to go with the favorable elements in your Ba Zi that support the DM which mean
that if your DM is weak Fire, your favorable elements are fire and wood. Therefore, you should associate yourself
with elements representing fire and wood in your personal space such as red carpets, plants, table lamp etc.

What do you think? Which is more palatable?

You have to know your work well in order not to be confused by them who are creative writers and commercial
business people.

I am surprised that eating grass was not a suggested option. BaZhai is a formula used for the house analysis. We
are talking about intangible Qi 'energy' never object or ornaments. Drink more water when you need water? What
if you don't need, don't drink?

Likewise, the steel components in the building/ kitchen etc are not good enough that you need more metal? The
Earth has got more than the iron ore you ever need. We really need to question the logic of these people who are
recommending these expensive elemental objects. Best to check around if these people who bought them have
gone rich and powerful. The poor sales people are still there selling...they should first be rich.

I am more in favour of using the elemental influences in the Bazi more on job function, career choices. Besides
environmental considerations, the sitting of the house, the location of the door, the floor level and selection of
rooms [if renting just a room].
